Committed to Optimizing Rigor in Education
At CORE Professional Development, we aim to bring professional development to a new level as the 21st century continues to take education in new and more challenging directions. Our courses will focus on current issues in education and address topics that are the core of true professional development. As per New York State’s CTLE requirements, and as an approved CTLE sponsor, coursework will be aimed at improving student performance and strengthening teachers’ pedagogical skills. A primary objective of our courses will be to follow the CTLE guideline of promoting the professionalization of teaching.
We ensure that our instructors are college professors, administrators and classroom teachers, many with decades of experience. All are New York State certified in their areas
of expertise and bring with them to each course a genuine desire to share their skills, strategies and successes.
Our instructors have taken and taught professional development courses. We have come together to bring educators what we believe has been missing. We are not concerned with the quantity of classes we offer but rather the quality. Our experience has consistently shown that the success of online learning is determined in large part by the nature of the relationship created between instructors and participants. With that in mind, all CORE students are assured that their learning experience will be personal and engaging as well as academically satisfying. We want to keep our course titles and content closely aligned with districts’ goals for student performance.
